Symbols
In Hugo’s adventure, we get to follow Hugo and the gang once again in search of hidden treasures. The premium symbols consist of various characters from the Hugo story, including his girlfriend and the monkey. When we get to the low paying symbols we have the classic A, K, Q, J and 10. Hugo himself acts as both the best paying symbol and Wild. This means he replaces all other symbols except Scatter, with an extra big win if you manage to hit a whole Wild line. Last but not least we have the Scatter symbol, it is used to activate the bonus game.
Hugo’s Adventure Features
This slot has two different bonus features that work as follows:
Air Force – Activated by hitting three Scatters in the base game. During your Free Spins, you have an extra symbol in the form of a heart. If you succeed in hitting this symbol you get an extra spin. If you manage to get to 20 spins, the next bonus feature, Underwater Adventure, is activated.
Underwater Adventure – This bonus can be activated by either getting far in the Air Force or hitting two golden submarines in the base game. This is a picking game where you want to swim through chests and pick the right one. If you manage to get all the way, you’ll get to multiply your winnings by up to 20x.
Conclusion
The Hugo games are games that most of us grew up with, so of course, it is very nostalgic to see these in a slot version. Play’n GO has succeeded fantastically well as usual with both graphics and sound, and the animations are really nicely done. This is the third Hugo game in the series from Play’n GO, and all games so far have been very fun, with good potential. Hugo’s Adventures has not yet been released but will come in early September.
